The terms

Quote:: We start with an initial estimate, then finalize and confirm it once we have evaluated the unit. No work starts until you approve.
Turnaround:: Set with you when you reach us, or once we have looked the unit over.
Warranty:: Parts and labor, from the ship date. One year by default on controller repairs, six months on turbo pump rebuilds, one year on cryopumps. Where a job needs something different, we set it with you when we quote or during the job.
Payment:: Check, ACH or bank transfer, credit card, or wire. Net 30 on a purchase order, once your account is approved.
If the job changes:: If the unit needs more work than we quoted, we ask you first.

Need a unit back sooner? Ask about expedited service. Speed and cost depend on the job, and we set both when we quote.

Tell us what the unit is and what it does wrong. We reply with an estimate and shipping instructions.
Ship it to us, drop it off, or ask about pickup.
We evaluate the unit and confirm the estimate.
Approve it, and we repair the unit and send it back. Decline it, and the unit comes back to you.

If we cannot fix it, we tell you, and it comes back to you, or we recycle it if you prefer.

Pumps: drain any oil and seal all ports. Controllers: pack them in their original packaging or equivalent.
Pack every unit with at least 2 inches of packing material between it and each side of the box.
Nearby customers can drop units off or ask about pickup. Where we travel
Shipping: you ship it to us and cover the return, and you can use your own carrier account.

We also calibrate, service lab equipment and take on system-level work.
